The Client converted a bedroom into a kitchen to take advantage of a well-lit back porch. The resulting Green Built kitchen (low-VOC , formaldehyde free, waterborne finish) is a frameless construction made of vertical grain bamboo – with accent horizontal grain on top. The countertop is Paperstone, the drawers have under-mount soft close glides. The pantry in the foyer leads to an angled cabinet that works around an otherwise tight entrance. The Natural Edge open shelves island boasts a walnut top with a drop leaf extension– an instant breakfast table.
